Sleeping in a capsule hotel in Tokyo was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan, is one of those weird, crazy and unique must do experience while in Japan, I was so happy to be in Tokyo and experience all those quirky, weird Japanese things, and capsule hotel was definitely one of those, it wasn't easy to find couples capsule since capsules hotels are mainly catering for males, but its slightly changing, now there's some capsules catering for females and couples and Kiba hotel was perfect because it catered to all.
Tokyo Kiba capsule hotel was so clean and comfortable, we were extremely satisfied with our choice, although is not in the city center, it was not an issue for us because we decided to spend the last night in Tokyo in a capsule, the Kiba subway station was about 5 minute walk, if you take the exit 4b you get there much faster, the capsule was quiet, convenient and affordable, specially if your trying to do Tokyo on a budget, we all know that this isn't the cheapest city out there.
I miss so much the 7- eleven food in Japan.
Hotels in Japan are extremely small, to be honest I didn't saw much difference between a hotel room and a capsule, for those who are concerned about the comfort, don't worry it's extremely comfortable and clean, we paid around 6500 yen for a couple capsule, single ones are cheaper there is sauna, public bathroom, free wifi, a common hall downstairs with a TV, television inside the capsule, its also close to Disney Tokyo, they provide pajamas too, there’s a shopping mall, restaurants and tons of convenience stores close by.
